Distribution of 80 Lambahoany (loincloth) for women's day to the seasonal workers and organization of a Women's Day with the municipality of Sonierana
The Domaine plays a very important role in the rural development of the region, we do not have any machinery and thus provide work in a rural area where paid activities are cruelly lacking.
We hire 45 people throughout the year and more than 150 during harvesting and packaging of our products, most of them women.
Patrols criss-cross the forest of the estate day and night to prevent intentional fires and to note the illegal cuts.
The Domaine de la Cascade also plays a social role in the region by supporting sport and culture. These initiatives involve the purchase and distribution of materials, the organization of sports tournaments and concerts.
The villagers have free access to the lowlands located within the estate to cultivate rice as they have always done. All this also contributes to the good agreement between the structure and the rural populations.
